Last Tuesday my boyfriend's dad invited me to go with them on a trip to a mountain resort. I was very excited because I've been so cooped up in the house for many days and the change of scenery will do me some good. Plus the cool breeze was certainly a relief from the blazing heat we usually experience here in the city.
While we were chatting and enjoying our afternoon snacks, his dad taught me some photography basics like aperture and shutter speed priority. I got excited and immediately tried his tips. For the longest time I finally understood what those mean and how I can use them to my advantage.
Before I knew anything about aperture and shutter speed, I usually use the picture effect (pop) of my Sony Nex 3 camera (yes I cheat xD). The effect makes the colors look more vivid and sharp.
This was what we had for our snacks. It's made up of sweet rice cake, rice crispies and native sugar :)
The day was a bit gloomy and later it rained really hard, making the air more cooler. But I would take this weather any day than suffering in blazing heat x_x
