My brother's prenup shoot

After days and days of planning about the concept for their prenup shoot, today was the day that all of it materialized. It was such a looooooonnngggggg day of shooting but I can say we all had fun. My brother's bride was simply beautiful, that, as I glanced at her, I couldn't help myself gasping a "Wow"

We started really early, waking up at 6:30 and preparing to go to the first venue: the vast and quaint area near Crocodile Park

It was really hot during the day. I swear I almost fainted from the extreme heat. But my brother and his bride endured the sweltering heat for a good shot.

The next venue was at the beach. It was actually a private property but we managed to sneak in (fufufufufu (--,) ). My brother prepared a lot of props that really made the shoot a lot interesting.

The last venue was at a park where Earth Hour 2012 was held. One of the activities that was planned for this years was the releasing of sky lanterns. The crowd cheered as the first lantern flew to the dark horizon.

Our patience was really tested when it began to rain really hard. It was a big OH NO because we all thought that the sky lanterns will be canceled because of the rain. But after a few minutes the weather permitted the participants to resume with the sky lanterns. Just when we were about to light out lanterns, the rain started to pour heavily again! Yes thanks a lot weather, you're really helping out here. But thankfully it stopped and the sky cleared. Watching the lanterns fly into the sky was really breathtaking. They appeared like stars as they wafted higher and higher.

I really have to commend the photographer for an awesome job. He wasn't afraid to experiment and he was quick and witty enough to utilize the elements from the surroundings. He also inspired me to sharpen my skills a bit in taking pictures. He shared that he just started with a point and shoot camera!

I can't wait for the photos from him and maybe study some of his editing styles ;)
